After Cherry Moon’s yearly tradition, a big retro party at the beach during the summer, Cherry Moon is now taking its future events on the road.
The Retro Beach edition was again an enormous success. The Pier in Blankenberge where we touched down for the first time, was completely sold-out and the atmosphere was absolutely mind-blowing with everybody reliving many magical moments and a lot of music from one of the most popular venues in Belgium ever.
So get ready for more because from now on, we will be looking for unique or special locations to continue our great story. For the first edition of this road-tour, we are going to a state of the art club with a premium sound and light system which is located less than 20 minutes from the well-known Cherry Moon Building: The Jet club!
We will present you two full blown rooms. In Hall 1 we will feature the typical ‘harder’ sounds from Cherry Moon’s main room going from techno to hard trance classics.
At your service will be those dj’s who know what you like to hear and who know how to drive you crazy. Those names that made the club into the great institution it has been and is till today!
The event is headed by the big master himself, the longest resident ever and one of the biggest stars from Belgium: Mr. Yves Deruyter, also responsible for the famous Cherry Moon Trax.
Next up is his partner in Cherry Moon crime, DJ Ghost with whom he shared the decks on so many occasions and for so many years.
And then, back on general demand after his outstanding performance on last years’ Halloween edition: Frank Biazzi from La Goa fame. He doesn’t play often anymore due to problems with his ears but he gladly accepted our invitation for this one: a special treat!
Another very special treat will be coming from Franky Jones and CJ Bolland who decided to join their forces to deliver you all an exclusive 2 hour back to back set. And when two heavyweights join their musical power like that, you can rest assured that it will be a gig to remember.
Hall 1 will be completed with all the other (former) residents from the club starting with Youri Parker and Dimi but also Franky Kloeck (also heavily involved in the Cherry Moon Trax formation) and finishing with D-Feat of the 2Hard2Furious parties.
In Hall 2 you will be able to enjoy the sounds that used to reign in the Cherry Moon Foyer. Here you will hear progressive house, trance, house and after-club classics.
They will be brought to you by the amazing Marko from La Rocca and Quincy, the man behind legendary parties as Age of Love and more recently Teknoville and Sunday Matinee.
And also the two Cherry moon Foyer legends Mike Thompson & Alain Faber will do the honors like only they can as they know you and Cherry Moon’s foyer sound best.
Add to those Dennis from after-club Kings and Micky from Project Retro and you know this new retro reunion is complete!
All we need now, is you, our Cherry Moon fans, to celebrate a night in which the wolves will howl and the ghosts will fly ... Cherry Moon Retro Halloween at your service!
